Taylor Renee was born with a blood disease called Sickle Beta + Thalassemia.

One day, Taylor Renee begins to have a lot of pain, swelling and complications from her disease. After a trip to the emergency room, Taylor Renee learns that she will have to spend a few days in the hospital. Bored, scared and all alone, a Super Hero Red Blood Cell appears in Taylor Renee’s hospital room, she calls him Sickle and they become very best friends!
